invasive dwarf bamboo

Asked December 12, 2018, 8:51 AM EST

I have consulted my landscaper and she tells me that she cannot dig up the dwarf bamboo that is creeping across my yard because of the tree roots. What would happen if I just ignore the bamboo? I am most concerned about its potential to strangle other plants and/or to reach into my pipes. Any advice is most welcome!

Your instincts are good about this invasive bully plant and you don't want to just ignore it. This is one plant that we suggest chemical controls for.
