About Pine Needle Mulch.

Are there common shrubs that would be harmed by using pine needle mulch? Thinking azaleas, dogwood, hydrangeas, hosta, knock-out roses.

Pine Needle mulch is best used for plants that prefer acidic soil. That includes dogwoods, azaleas, blueberries, mountain laurel, hostas and some others. They wouldn't really hurt anything. They are frequently used around roses.
