My young avocado plant is turning brown at the edges of its leafs? I brought in plants from outdoors (coleus) Im wondering if the avocado caught something from that? I was keeping them in separate rooms. If thats the case Oh Boy What a mess.OK Thank You.

Thank you for your question. Browning of leaves typically means there is something 'going wrong' in the soil, including under- or over-watering. It is impossible to diagnose without a photo of the plant, as well as information about the care you give it. I'm afraid the best I can do is refer you to an Extension article about the care of this plant; perhaps you can use its information to diagnose your plant's problem(s): http://ucce.ucdavis.edu/files/datastore/530-27.pdf
