Hi there. Is it legal to grow tobacco plants in Ohio for personal use? Thanks!

On October 22, 2004 the quota system ended. President Bush signed it into law and the buyout of quotas began.

This allowed for an open market for producing tobacco. You can grow for market, if you can find a market. As far as personal use, I believe it has always been legal to grow tobacco.
