rosemary plant

Asked November 4, 2018, 10:01 AM EST

I had a rosemary plant planted outdoors and I just dug it up and washed it off and put it in a jar of room temp. water because I want to grow it indoors during the winter. Its not a large plant, I bought it this past summer from a nursery. But i know it will die outside so I want to give it a chance to grow inside. What do i do next. It is sitting in a jug of water at the present time. been there an hour now. I would appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks, Linda

As soon as possible I would transplant it into a pot with potting soil. Place in a South facing window.
