Ash seeds

Asked October 27, 2018, 11:01 AM EDT

What does it mean if my Ash tree is holding onto its seeds? The leaves have all fallen, but the seeds remain.

It is just what it is doing this year. Ash tree seed production often occurs every 3-5 years so when it does it is more noticable. Ash trees often hold on to their seeds and it is a good source of winter food for wildlife.
