Garden Spiders

Asked October 24, 2018, 6:25 AM EDT

Hello. I have had a garden spider living on the back of my house all summer. My family and i have enjoyed her. We bevame so attached to her that after laying her eggs and the 1st frost we knew she would die. Since then Charlotte has been living with us inside. She has rebuilt her web and now this morning she is laying her eggs. She already had a massive egg sac that she laid weeks ago. I need guidance on what i should do now. I dont want her babies hatching inside.

If you don't want the eggs hatching inside then relocated them outside. They probably need to be slowly accumulated to cooler temps tho. Start by keeping them in the garage for a week or so, then outside in a somewhat protected spot.

Good luck,
