Is it too late to plant some perennials in my yard? Lavender rosemary and such

Absolutely not! Fall is a great time to plant perennials. You will want to be aware of your micro climate, frost dates, and so on but if you act fast and plant healthy plants you can be pretty sure you still have some time for the plant to establish before winter sets in.
