Hello,
I did a bit of research but would like to do more. I was able to find a research project using the peas from field peas that were fed to yearling horses with no problems and the peas were deemed safe. I was unable to find anything regarding forage which is what I would classify the left over vegetation. I do have one other place I want to check before I can definitively say they should be safe. I have not heard of any problems with peas, but I want to be sure.
I have attached the publication of the pea trial.

I will be in touch again early next week. Have a wonderful weekend.
