Over watered dogwood?

Asked October 10, 2018, 2:50 PM EDT

Hello there, I have a dogwood starting to die on me. There’s a row of them and this is the only one not doing so good. The irrigation is hitting the plant directly as shown in the photo. Is over watering the issue? Thanks

Hi! I have both of your questions on boxwood and dogwood. First, it would be helpful to know where you are in Oregon, since we have some vastly different ecoregions. Second, how much are you watering these dogwoods? Have you examined them for insects? Have they been fertilized? Are they in full or partial sun? How long ago were they planted? Have you had a soil test? Once I get more info, I can move a bit further. Thanks.
