How can you tell if a small plant is woody. What does it look like. My plant green but the leaves are drooping.

Thank you for your question. You can tell that a plant is woody by examining its stem to see if it has a ‘tough’ covering. However, a plant’s leaves will droop if it has inadequate water, whether it is woody or herbaceous. If you send a photo, we can identify the plant(s) and give you care instructions.
