preserving ground cherries
As far as I know there is no research base times or methods for canning ground cherries. I would suggest you freeze the juice or freeze the ground cherries rather than canning them. You might also like to try drying them. They will keep for a long time in the refrigerator.
There are some jam, jelly and preserve recipes that would be safe to can since they are high in sugar as well as usually have lemon juice added.
