Jackson County Michigan plant identification flowers: annuals and herbaceous perennials

Hello, I believe that this is a Datura, common name Thorn apple. It is an annual, a toxic plant, poisonous in all respects, with white flowers and a gruesome history. I can not identify the exact species but you can look it up datura images on line to choose the exact plant. What bothers me about this plant is that your pictures bear a strong resemblance to Datura tatula, or Jimsonweed, which you can also look up on line. It’s disturbing to think that Home Depot would sell it. Perhaps if you have pictures of the flowers you could send them for better identification.
