Spiders on house plants outside

Asked September 21, 2018, 6:55 AM EDT

I need to bring my house plants in before winter and I see spiders on some of them . What can I do to get rid of the spiders? Some of the plants are tropical.

Hi,

Usually, a good spray of water from the hose is enough to knock off the spiders. Otherwise, you can use an insecticide (please read the label carefully) to kill the spiders before you bring the plants indoors.
