How to get the garden ready for next spring
The summer vegetables are on their last legs. Except for the few fall vegetables most of my garden beds are done. How can I get these beds ready for next spring. I heard that fall is the best time to do it.

Clean up/sanitation is an important fall task, as is taking actions to improve and protect your soil.
Keep those fallen leaves- they can help reduce erosion, act as a mulch, and be turned in as an organic amendment later.
