"No Mow Lawn Grass Seed"

Asked September 16, 2018, 7:20 PM EDT

Hi there,

I'm looking for an alternative to the labor and water-intensive cut lawn, and came across "No Mow Lawn Grass Seed" from High Country Gardens. https://www.highcountrygardens.com/sustainable-lawns/grass-seed/grass-seed-no-mow-lawn
Are you familiar with this grass mixture and do you think it would do well in Burlington? Do you know anyone who has tried planting it?

Chittenden County Vermont

This “No Mow Grass Seed” looks like a mixture of fine fescues. We do consider the fine fescues a good choice for “low input” but I would recommend the person compare prices of this brand product to purchasing a mixture of fine fescues from their local seed supply store in Vermont. I would suggest a mixture of hard, red and sheep fescue for the mixture.
