My pumpkins are near their projected harvest date. I am wondering if it is okay to leave them attatched the plant longer than 115 days it says they needed. Thank you

Harvest dates are just guidelines.
In general, we are two weeks ahead of last year. So, they can be harvested and kept in a dry place out of direct sunlight for best curing and keeping for sale. However, if you don't have the space, the fruit will do fine in the field if you don't see fruit rots showing up. You can cut them from the vine and let them sit among the leaves and weeds to provide shade.
