Help..my son brought this ficus home from my mom's funeral. It was sent to the funeral home by his employer. That was 3 yrs ago and it's taking over his office. He wants to cut it back but is worried about killing it. Suggestions. .pic attached
You son will be able to safely trim the tree as long as he doesn't remove more than 25-30% of the branches. Trim back the branches right above a leaf, as there is a growing point where the leaf attaches to the truck that will send out new shoots.
