Apple eater

Asked August 26, 2018, 1:01 AM EDT

I saw animal with rat tail at my bird feeder. Something was eating my honey crisp apples. I put biodegradable bags on and they got into them.

Rats can get into bird feeders, and multiple animals may be feeding on your apples. You'll need to watch closely and try different ways to thwart the invaders. If you find out for sure what the animals are and need more strategies to deal with them, check back here or contact your County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers: 541-344-5859
