Can I put a treehouse in an apple tree
Cattaraugus County New York
Thank you for your question. I am uncertain whether you are asking this as a horticultural one or a legal one. From a horticultural perspective, whether the tree is large enough and sturdy enough to have a structure attached can only be assessed by an arborist who has had an opportunity to examine the tree. From a legal angle, some governments prohibit tree houses altogether, or require a permit, after a structural assessment, as previously discussed. I suggest you contact your City Attorney (if you live in city limits) or County Counsel (if you live in the county) to ask about laws and ordinances that govern you. Good luck!
Ok thank you
