How to eradicate Bishop’s weed?

Not an easy weed to get rid of, Aegopodium podagraria, also called Bishop's weed or Goutweed is very aggressive. University of Illinois states controls work best on young leaves and late in summer to cut them and as they grow back to use a non-selective herbicide like glyphosate on young leaves. It may work better later in season when plants are moving produced sugars down into stems and roots to store energy for next season. Likely will need to attack what is left as it begins to grow next spring. Be careful not to get glyphosate on other plants in the garden. Read label carefully. See following site:
