canning tomato spaghetti sauce from already home canned tomatoes

If I wanted to use already home canned tomatoes to then can spaghetti sauce, would I just deduct the amount of salt that was used in the canned tomatoes from the recipe I was going to use for the spaghetti sauce? Is there already a recipe to make canned pasta sauce from home pre-canned tomatoes? I don't want to use too much salt, or too little......
