Is this a diseased fox?

Asked August 3, 2018, 3:37 PM EDT

I've been unable to get a decent picture of a limping pooch, but found one in the news (yeah really) and they weren't sure what it was. It comes through my underbrush that surrounds my yard and gets comfortable in my flower box like it's waiting for prey. Today it just parked under one of my trees. It's the size of the foxes we used to have in the neighborhood. I can't remember if I saw this pooch with a fox fur coat since it's been awhile. So if it's a fox, should I call someone to trap it not because it's a fox, but possibly a terrible sick fox? My apologies to John for downloading his pic.
