Bindweed / morning glory in the lawn

Asked July 31, 2018, 8:14 PM EDT

Reading this article it sounds like the herbicide called quinclorac may be one of the better ways to get rid of bind weed. It also mentions the following: "Quinclorac is available to the homeowner in the products Ortho Weed B Gon MAX plus Crabgrass Control and Bayer Advanced ™ All-In-One Lawn Weed and Crabgrass Killer"
With all that said can I understand then if I use the Ortho or Bayer brands stated here that it would be a good way to try and get rid of the bindweed?
If you've got any other helpful hints of products I can try I would be extremely grateful to hear them.
Thanks very much for this help source.

In Virginia 2,4-D + Dicamba is what is recommended to control bindweed in turfgrass.
You could call or stop by your extension office for Utah's recommendation:
