We have seen cinnabar larvae on tansy plants all over the valley this season. They are out there and it's unfortunate they aren't also on your property. Oregon Department of Agriculture that releases biological control no longer distribute cinnabar larvae because populations are considered wide-spread. For more information about tansy ragwort management:
I have heard of landowners finding cinnabar larvae populations in other locations (neighboring fields, public right of ways, etc.) and with permission, transferring some to their other own property. This may be an option for you.
