This does not look like brown patch. In fact, we haven't gotten many reports of the disease being active as of yet. This looks like drought damage. Before the large amounts of rain we are experiencing now it was hot and dry enough to cause fescue to go dormant. Or this could have been an area of undesirable grass like poa trivialis or perennial ryegrass that has more problems than fescue and has died out.
Most likely these patches will need to be reseeded in late summer - early fall.
