Peach tree dropping leaves in July
We have a peach tree that is about 10 years old and has been quite healthy. I pruned it back in the Spring and it responded beautifully. Now, it is dropping yellow leaves. Is that normal due to extreme heat or should I be concerned?

I have seen several peach trees in Essex County exhibit this symptom in the past few weeks. The most recent hot and dry period before all of the current rain we have received may have been a cause for this leaf drop. It is difficult to make an accurate determination for this particular case without taking a look at the tree to rule out other causes.
