Tomatoes, upper leaf wilted and curled

The plants look strong and healthy. Upper leaves are curled and wilted. I don't see any signs of insects.

I don't think this is possible. The plants are in East Bloomington and our neighbors do not heavily treat their lawns.
Okay, I just read the MSU.edu article you linked. The picture is exactly like my plants. I will be more vigilant next year.
Should I cut off the wilted leaves? Will the plants recover as growth progresses?

Also, I did not receive this response. I was contacted to provide feedback on my Q/A experience.

It isn't necessary to cut off the affected leaves. The plants may recover or at least not show additional damage if there is no additional exposure. The distorted leaves will remain that way.

I can't explain why you did not receive the response.
