Zucchini not giving fruit

Asked July 16, 2018, 5:28 PM EDT

Hello, I have one zucchini, one yellow squash and one acorn squash plants that only have the male blooms. The few female blooms I see end up dying. I have done some research and it seems like they might not be pollinating correctly. My garden is filled with roses, lilacs and butterfly bushes so I see plenty of bees. I use a fertilizer and power potting soil when I initially planted. Is it possible there is a deficiency in the soil? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi:

If there's a chance you could send a photo or two of the affected plants to me it would greatly assist me in the diagnosis. You mention possible "deficiency" in the soil and photos would really be necessary to determine that. You can contact me directly at the email address below. Thank You!
