Invasion of striped barley shaped bugs

Can you identify these striped bugs?. I found pods of them around the base of our Queen Anne lace tree. The attached photo also shows an adult with wings.

These insects are called barklice (Cerastipsocus venosus). https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewSpecies.php?species=13482
Barklice do not feed on living plants. They feed on lichens, decaying organic matter, dead insects, molds, fungi, and pollen. They are not harmful to trees and shrubs, and no control is necessary.
