I don't know what this plant is? Do I what to keep it?

Last year this plant came up in my flower bed it was only about 3 ft. tall. This year it came back now it's 4 ft. and is hiding my desired daylilies from my view and the sunshine. What is it? Is it poisonous? Do I what to keep it?

This tall, quickly growing weed is Pokeweed (Phytolacca americana). It is toxic and invasive in Hood River County. Remove it, protecting your skin from contact. East Multnomah County Soil and Water Conservation District information: https://emswcd.org/on-your-land/weeds/weeds-to-know/pokeweed/ Also, Page 29 of this invasive weeds publication from Klickitat County covers pokeweed. Check out the other weeds listed too, as you may find them in your gardens too. https://www.klickitatcounty.org/DocumentCenter/View/1028/Worst-Weeds-of-the-Gorge-PDF
