We're having trouble with our rhododendrons. Can you please help us identify the problem we are having from the attached photo. We have been reading up on potential problems but have not yet been able to identify this problem. We appreciate any assistance you can give!

This looks like a leaf scorch on the foliage. You did not mention where the plant is located and how old they are. Rhododendrons grow best in morning sun and afternoon shade. If planted in full sun the leaves can scorch.
They have a shallow root system. Drought conditions can also cause leaf scorching along the margins or leaf tips. Water during dry periods and make sure mulch is no thicker than several inches and keep away from the base of the stems.
