Tomato plant issue

Asked June 26, 2018, 8:42 PM EDT

2 of my tomato plants seem to be having some issues. We've had more rain than sun over the last month so I'm not sure if that is the cause but the first one (German Johnson) is tall enough but has leaf issues (see 2 pics attached) while the other tomato shows some bud like items on its main stem (see last pic). Any idea what these are and if there's anything that i can do?
Thank you

The tomato in the left photo shows adventitious roots on the stem. These are adventitious roots or aerial roots which would grow into normal roots if placed in contact with the soil. The degree to which a gardener will see this is determined by cultivar, weather conditions, and culture. http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/adventitious-roots-vegetables
It looks like the tomato is still in the container. You should remove the container for better root growth.

The tomato in the middle and right photo looks healthy and we do not see a problem. Here is our profile on tomatoes http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/learn/tomatoes
