Perennial plants

Asked June 25, 2018, 9:43 PM EDT

I have an approximately 5 ft diameter garden in the center of my front lawn. I was planting annuals for several years. I have decided to plant low growing perennials. Can you please give me some ideas? The garden has sun from early morning to early evening ( 12 hours). Any direction/suggestions you can give me will be appreciated. Thank you.

Here are some suggestions. However, you will have to consider mature height and width.
Asclepias tuberosa, butterfly weed; gaillardia; sedum species; monarda punctata, spotted bee balm; phlox subulata; coreopsis verticillata; germander; Stokesia, stokes aster, and Creeping thyme.
