Beetles and Blueberries

Asked June 23, 2018, 12:49 PM EDT

I have 6 young (4 years) blueberry bushes and they are covered with Japanese Beetles. I don't want to pick them off the bushes by hand. Is there another safe option for getting rid of them?

Easiest and safest would be to cover them with a floating row cover, often sold as Remay. It will allow sun and rain it but keep bugs out. Old curtain sheers would work as well. You might have to order it online because it's hard to find locally.
