arborvitae
Half of my arborvitae have turned brown and the other half are healthy. Before I cut them down, is there a chance they will come back? The branches are still pliable and there is small areas of green. One tree is brown on the north side and green on the south side. Thank you

If winter burn accounts for the damage you have described, branches with some green leaves may recover. Those that are completely brown will not. Strategic pruning and patience will be needed to restore those that are not beyond recovery.
