Pear tree diseases

Asked June 19, 2018, 2:05 PM EDT

Hi! I have two pear trees in my garden, one Orcas variety, one four-way espalier containing european varieties including Comice, Seckel, Bartlett and Anjou. The espalier is three years old, two in the same spot, and the Orcas was planted last spring. Only the Anjou has ever fruited, a single pear last season. Here's the problem: I've got what seems to be a fungus / virus covering the Orcas which is now beginning to infiltrate the espalier, already on the lower grafts (Comice, Seckel) and spreading up. Wondering: what's your diagnosis, and what would be good organic / inorganic maintenance and prevention strategies? Thanks so much!
