Solar & Wind Power

I see that a year ago MSU E had sessions to assist townships to identify best practices for zoning ordinances. Are these still available? If so, how do I get into a session?

We have many resources on planning and zoning for solar and wind energy. For solar, we have the following materials from our recent "Shining a Light on Agricultural Solar Development" workshop series. https://sites.google.com/msu.edu/shineagsolar. Much of the material pertains to landowners and local governments.
We also have this article on solar energy, with mention of our 2017 workshops. http://msue.anr.msu.edu/news/planning_and_zoning_for_solar_in_michigan.
In addition, here is a link to a 2015 article pertaining to planning and zoning for solar energy:

For wind energy resources, we have the following article with a sample ordinance:

We are hosting a lunch-hour webinar on Planning and Zoning for Solar again on July 17th. Stay tuned for a registration link on our MSUE website.
