Squash Vine Borere
When do squash vine borers lay their eggs? I want to know if I still have time to put a barrier up to protect the stalks.

Egg laying for squash vine borer can start in May with hatch in early summer.
You could certainly try the barrier, but also continue to monitor for eggs and plant health.
