young peach tree

Asked June 13, 2018, 9:34 AM EDT

My first year with a patio peach tree. It's doing well, and has green blobby things growing under the lush leaves, but they're shiny, not furry. Please, can they possibly be peaches? Not furry at all, look more like apples, circular and green. I purchased the tree at Lowe's, not exactly known for being careful with labeling. Would very much appreciate some advice, hopefully telling me that the blobs will become furry as they mature. Thank in Frederick, Md.

Please send us photos of the whole tree, around the base, and the fruit (blobs) so we can see what you are dealing with.
