How can I lower the magnesium in my lawn

Wayne County Michigan

There really isn't anything you can do to lower the magnesium level, nor should it concern you. Magnesium can be in the above optimum range and as long as you have sufficient potassium (either in the soil or applied according to recommended rates on your soil test report) the excess magnesium will not cause you a problem.
