Yellow eggs on flowering cherry tree

Asked June 11, 2018, 9:28 AM EDT

I found these yellow eggs on my flowering cherry this morning. I’m wondering what they are and if I should remove them or not. Thanks!

It's hard to say what the eggs are, but I would remove them. Pests usually lay their eggs near the food supply for their larvae. If you want to take the mass to your local Penn State Extension, you can talk to your county Master Gardeners to get more help.
