Chemical control of invasive Mint

Asked June 10, 2018, 7:30 PM EDT

I have a mint strain in my Christmas tree field that I would like to control before that is all I am growing. Can you tell me of a chemical I can investigate further that will kill it? Thanks Tom

I just asked a mint farmer who also growers Christmas trees. He says 2,4-D products or RoundUp work well. . Given issues with 2,4-D volatility and damage to new growth, RoundUp would be safer, but with either you will need to keep the herbicide off the trees as a directed application .
