white inside blueberry

Asked June 10, 2018, 1:57 AM EDT

Can white inside of berry hurt you? I am worried as I wonder if they have mummy fungus and thinking it would be bad even though we paid more for it being organic. my husband say can't hurt but I think it could and I am delicate of health problems.

Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, I am not able to picture what you are describing as white inside of berry. If it is appears to be a different color -it may be due to variety or maturity. If that white is accompanied by different texture of the berry - it could be a number of other things including possible fungal growth.
To allow me to best serve you - please submit one or more photos of the blueberries that you are describing.
