I have harvested the main head of my broccoli. There are smaller sprouts starting. Should I trim a few leaves to add energy to the sprouts? Please, see photo.

Your broccoli looks very healthy, beautiful leaves! The leaves are the energy producing parts of the plant - where photosynthesis takes place. I wouldn't trim any of them. Your side shoots will be harvestable very soon to extend your broccoli harvest. Cut them back to where they emerge from the main stalk for additional shoots.
