I have a small fishing pond in my front yard, approximately 1/2 surface acre. I have a few ducks. This pond is not used for farming or livestock purposes, only fishing. This spring, it has become overrun with what appears to be curly leaf pond weed. What is the best/quickest way to safely rid my pond of this weed without harming the ducks or fish? Last spring I purchased three grass carp to handle the algae issues, and they have done a good job, but apparently are not interested in this new invasive weed.
