transplanting

I received a basket with an assortment of bulb flowers that are now spent. Can I transplant them somewhere outside to enjoy next year. How would I do this?

You might try. Cut off the bloom stalks and put the bulbs in the ground. Perhaps the remaining foliage will be able to feed the bulbs so they will rebloom in the following season. Great energy is expended by the bulbs when forced so they may or may not make the transplant. It is worth a try if there is remaining foliage. You might lightly fertilize them. Good luck
