I have two shrubs in my yard. One is about 3.5 feelt tall the other is about 1. They just showed up one year. It is evergreen with shiny leaves. The berries are black, clustered, and oblong-ish. Can you please tell me what it is?

Clackamas County Oregon weeds spurge

Based on your picture it is likely spurge laurel. This is a landscape plant that can become invasive. Sap and seeds can be toxic, so protect your skin if you decide to remove it. Simply pulling out plants of this size usually works. Dispose of the plants in the trash (not your yard waste bin or compost) and repeat the process if new plants appear.
