Compost source?

Do you know where I can buy pure bagged compost? Or is there something the Grange sells that is close to the same thing?

Most nurseries offer products labeled as compost. We suggest you read carefully the label of ingredients to get the appropriate mix you seek. Compost, after all, can be composed of many things: some are purely vegetative matter, some contain manures, some utilize waste materials such as paper, grass clippings, etc. In the past, a few master gardeners have offered compost for sale. You might call the Plant Clinic at the Jackson Count OSU Extension Office to see if there are any current products available. Phone number is (541) 776-7371.Their address is 569 Hanley Road, Central Point. summer hours are Monday through Friday, 10 to 2. Please know that OSU Extension does not promote specific brand names or stores; you will need to read labels carefully and make your own judgment.
