Plant identification

Asked May 27, 2018, 9:05 PM EDT

I have several plants coming up in the backyard that I didn’t plant and that I have been unable to identify. The results I’m getting from plant snap seem either very unlikely (i.e. plumeria in Maryland) or scary (stinging nettle). I’m going to send a couple of messages with pictures to dentify these plants and let me know if I should remove them

Montgomery County Maryland plant identification phlox monarda flowers: annuals and herbaceous perennials perennials helianthus

The first photo looks like phlox.
Second photo looks like monarda (beebalm).
Third photo looks like possibly heliathus.

We recommend that you let all grow and flower. They do not look like weeds. You are welcome to send us photos of the flowers when they are in bloom for more definitive identification.
